A little about me…
I am a professional listener. I really enjoy one-on-one conversations.
I strive to be the best version of myself everyday – mentally and physically.
Running is my meditation.
I would describe myself as very determined…if I want something, I go for it!
My partner and I love travelling with family and friends, taking photos and sharing memories with others.
We celebrate life at every opportunity.
I am passionate about…
- Empowering women to take control of and understand their money journey.
- Challenging your limiting stories, beliefs and emotions about money.
- Achieving true freedom for you and your family.
- Living a life of significance – a life by your design.
Some tidbits about my background…
For the past two decades (more actually, but whose counting!), I have been a financial educator, mentor, coach and advisor for some of the leading banks in Australia and New Zealand.
What I’m up to now…
I left the corporate world because I lost track of what I was most passionate about. I was on the 9-5 treadmill; was living reactively, holding my life together and believing this was just the way life is!
Over time, I got so used to the pressure of making money that I forgot what the real goal was. Because everyone else was doing it, it just seemed natural and “normal.”
Until it wasn’t.
I began to recall why I was here, who I was and what I valued most out of life.
Then I began to remember what I really wanted.
You see, the really important things in life – like our hopes and dreams, require us to be proactive.
So, I got off the treadmill of “making money” to creating a life of meaning and fulfilment.
Now, my passion is to help others create this for themselves too!
I love working with everyone, however I think women really need greater guidance and support to become fully financially empowered and independent.
To accomplish this, we all need to learn how to take control of our finances and become confident with our money choices.
Women often defer to others – parents, partners etc to do this for them, or worse still, avoid the subject of money altogether. This doesn’t serve us and my intention is to help as many women as I can to gain this important and essential life skill.
Why my work is my passion…
I want to help others to:
- understand why money is such a challenging subject, personally and relationally.
- identify and change the patterns and behaviours that create blocks to their overall security and happiness.
- discover their own greater purpose and passion in life.
- live their lives fully and eventually, retire on their own terms.
People who I have worked with, who’ve really listened and heeded my advice, have thanked me many years down the track. They thanked me for making a difference in their life and on their journey.
This is the greatest reward of all and I hope I can make a difference to your money journey too!
